Yom Wahid Asal is an Egyptian comedy following Kamal and Amina, a showbiz couple on the cusp of getting married. Their plans are thrown into chaos when a chance encounter draws them into the orbit of Magneto, a quick-fingered pickpocket who also dabbles in currency counterfeiting. What follows is a breathless series of chases and comic misadventures as the couple tries to disentangle themselves from his schemes. Set against the colourful backdrop of Egyptian entertainment circles, the film delivers fast-paced slapstick and situational humour with an irresistible energy.
