Seven Floors is a psychological drama adapted from Dino Buzzati's celebrated story, following a screenwriter who checks into a hospital for routine medical examinations only to discover a deeply unsettling institutional logic: the hospital is divided into seven floors, with patients assigned according to the severity of their condition. The lower the floor, the closer the patient is to death. As the protagonist is gradually moved downward through no clear fault of his own, the film builds a mounting sense of dread and existential helplessness. A tense and allegorical drama about fate, bureaucracy, and the terrifying loss of control.
