Jack of All Trades is an Egyptian comedy film following Mohsen Al-Asafiry, a genuinely kind-hearted young man whose good intentions have a spectacular tendency to blow up in his face. Despite his eagerness to work and his fundamentally decent character, Mohsen loses job after job — not through laziness or malice, but because his well-meaning mistakes consistently fall outside the bounds of what employers will tolerate. When his brother-in-law uses his connections to land Mohsen a position with a powerful and influential businessman, the stage is set for history to repeat itself in the most comedic way possible. The film is a warm, affectionate look at the gap between good intentions and practical competence.
