Egyptian director. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California, specializing in cinema, in 1960. He directed many television films and video films, and won the Alexandria International Television Festival Award for the documentary film (The Eternal Moment) in 1964, the Drama Award for the film (The Book with a Beautiful Cover) in 1965, the Documentary Film Award from the Linberg Festival in 1968, and several awards for the film (I Don’t Lie, but I Pretend) from the Cairo International Film Festival. And the Best Direction award for the film (The Resignation of an Atomic Scientist).
