قصة الحي الغربي (Story of the Western Quarter) is an Arabic social drama set in a working-class neighborhood divided by long-standing rivalry between two groups led by Rajab and Tolba. Caught between loyalty and love, and warned by Rajab's fiancée Nawal of the relationship's dangers, Sami ultimately chooses to break ranks, approach Rajab, and ask for his sister's hand in marriage.
