Confused Hearts is an Egyptian drama film that follows a young woman who inherits her late mother's estate but finds life under her stepmother's roof increasingly unbearable. She flees to Lebanon with a con artist who attempts to assault her, only to be saved by his sudden death. Returning to Egypt to manage her inheritance, she falls in love with and marries a young neighbor — but a shocking revelation soon surfaces, linking her new husband to the very man who once threatened her in Lebanon.
