Overview
Kwaml's House is an Egyptian social drama film starring Nadia Al-Jundi as Farida, a wealthy property owner determined to demolish an old residential building and replace it with a modern tower block — with little regard for the tenants whose lives are rooted there. Fate deals her an ironic hand when she falls for Ali, one of the very residents she has been brushing aside, and entrusts him with managing her new project. Ali sees in this unexpected power an opportunity for quiet revenge — not just for himself, but for every neighbor displaced by Farida's ambitions. The film builds toward a reckoning that puts love, power, and justice on a collision course.
