Overview
The Ruthless is an Egyptian crime drama set in the port city of Alexandria, where a family is torn apart by the drug trade. Hammam, the eldest brother, runs a narcotics trafficking ring concealed behind a legitimate transport business inside the port, and he drags his younger brother Khamis into the operation. Their sister Fatima refuses to cross that line and continues working honestly in the family shop. Adding emotional depth to the crime thriller is Fatima's long-standing love for Mansour, a friend of Khamis who has been absent from the neighborhood for years. A tense portrait of loyalty, corruption, and the price a family pays when crime becomes the family business.
