Overview
Al Basha is an Arabic crime drama series that exposes the brutal mechanics of corruption and impunity. Officer Husam works in the Vice Squad and uncovers a prostitution ring orchestrated by a powerful businessman with deep connections. Time after time, the businessman leverages his influence and authority to escape the charges leveled against him, leaving Husam empty-handed and demoralized after each failed attempt to bring him to justice. As the conflict escalates, the series paints an unflinching portrait of the uneven battle between an honest officer and an entrenched network of corruption that seems untouchable.
