Overview
The Rebellious is an Egyptian drama-romance film centered on Sawsan, the spoiled daughter of a wealthy man who, after her mother's death, grows accustomed to getting her way at any price. When she clashes with stage actor Kamel during a theatrical performance, she buys out every seat in his shows to assert control. Kamel and his girlfriend Qadriya then conspire to exploit her obsession for financial gain, setting off a battle of wills between arrogance and cunning. The film explores how unchecked privilege can become a vulnerability.
