
Zaki Abdel Majeed was born on June 17, 1931 in the Shubra neighborhood. He studied at Al-Tawfiqia School, then he joined the Faculty of Physical Education, and graduated from it in June 1956. As a result of his intense love for acting, he joined the Institute of Acting and studied art and physical education at the same time and graduated from it in September 1955. He began his artistic career with the role of Zaki Hakim Al-Sahha in the movie (The Curlew’s Prayer) in 1959, then he headed to television at the beginning of its broadcast in the year In 1960, he participated in Al-Sawy Culturewheel, in a major role as one of the Sultan’s sons (Abdul Ghani Qamar). He worked in a number of Egyptian films in small roles, and in 1973 he traveled to Libya to work at the University of Tripoli and there he directed many plays. He worked in youth care at Ain Shams University until he became Director General of Youth Welfare in 1982. He devoted himself in the eighties to working in religious and historical series. He passed away on December 18 of the year. 2010.
