The Seventh Sin is an Egyptian drama film about a wife who discovers that her husband Shaukat has been unfaithful to her with their household maid — the very woman who helped propel him to prominence in the tourism industry. Rather than collapsing in grief, she devises a calculated and unconventional revenge: she engineers the maid's divorce from her own poor husband and maneuvers Shaukat into marrying her. Once done, she seeks her own divorce and returns to running her thriving tourism businesses, while Shaukat finds himself adrift in a life he cannot manage, paying the full price for his betrayal.
