Overview

Ayam Al-Shar is an Egyptian thriller drama following Nadia, an aspiring actress introduced to film producer Mamdouh through his secretary Mona. Mamdouh convinces Nadia to step in and complete a film, claiming his lead actress has left the production — and that Nadia bears a striking resemblance to her. The truth proves far darker: the original actress, Laila, is Mamdouh's wife, murdered by her own brother Saeed for the inheritance. Mamdouh exploits Nadia's likeness to make Saeed believe Laila is alive, setting a trap for revenge. When Nadia's worried fiancé Sami alerts the police, the deception spirals toward a violent and dangerous confrontation.
