The Three Knights is an Egyptian comedy film that follows Saleh, a pious and moralistic lawyer who publishes a magazine called Lights of Virtue to champion traditional values — though readership remains sparse. He insists on marrying his daughter off to the righteous Sheikh Fadel, ignoring her love for her cousin Nabil. Everything changes when a deceased relative — a cabaret dancer — bequeaths Saleh her nightclub. Suddenly the champion of virtue finds himself running the very kind of establishment he spent his life condemning, and one by one his cherished principles begin to crack. A wry satire on hypocrisy and the gap between preaching and practice.
