Egyptian actress. She began acting in the early 1930s through theatre, where her first appearance was on the Rihani Theater / and she joined it on her trip to Alexandria, where she sang, danced, and recited monologues. In 1929, she joined Fatima Rushdi’s troupe as a singer, then she worked with Badia Masabni and acted with Bechara Wakim in many plays. Then she joined Hassan Al-Baroudi’s troupe in 1935, and in 1944 she participated in performances. Hassan Al-Baroudi formed a theater group in 1955. Her works varied between cinema and theatre, and among her most prominent works were (Raya and Sakina, Warm Nights, I am the Past). She passed away in 1976.
