The Coal Miners is an Egyptian drama set in a feudal rural estate where class conflict simmers to the surface with lethal consequences. The Pasha rules his farmland with greed and contempt, exploiting his workers without mercy — until Amin, a young man from the impoverished coal-burning district, begins to mobilize resistance against him. The situation turns deadly when Amin's father is murdered by unknown assailants, and a web of corruption and betrayal begins to unravel. Meanwhile, Amin's fiancée Loza, hungry for wealth, throws herself at the Pasha, only to be strung along with empty promises. Framed on a counterfeiting charge and forced to flee, Amin gradually uncovers the full extent of the Pasha's crimes — and sets out on a path of revenge.
