Overview
Al-Boyout Asrar is an Egyptian drama film that explores how destructive habits can migrate from one partner to the other within the walls of a shared home. Mamdouh, a prominent lawyer, has long neglected his career because of a gambling addiction. Under persistent pressure from his wife, he finally reforms and begins spending his evenings at home playing cards with her. But as the days pass, she masters the game he taught her — and the roles reverse entirely. The wife becomes consumed by gambling while household life crumbles around them.
