Egyptian actor. He began his artistic career a year before his graduation from the Institute of Dramatic Arts, where he collaborated with artists (Mohamed Saad) and (Ahmed El-Sakka), when the great director (Atef El-Tayeb) hired him to play a small role in his movie (Blood on the Asphalt), in 1992. After that, a long career began for (Magdy Kamel), who graduated with a very good grade and became a teaching assistant at the institute.
He participated in several films and series, including (A Girl from Israel), (Mercedes), (The Disappearance of Jaafar Al-Masry), (Your Love is Fire), (An Emergency Circumstance), and others.
In 2015, he played the absolute lead in the television series (Marionette). It is noteworthy that one of his most important roles was his playing the role of the late President (Gamal Abdel Nasser) in the series (The Nightingale) in 2006, the role of (Mahmoud) the eldest son in the movie (The Danish Experience) starring (Adel Imam), and the role of (Officer Maher) in the comedy movie (Boha) opposite (Mohamed Saad).
He married the artist Maha Ahmed.
