Hassan and Aziza: National Security Case is an Egyptian comedy-thriller that throws its hapless protagonist Hassan into an absurd and dangerous situation. What begins as a private night out in an abandoned apartment quickly becomes a crisis when Hassan discovers the same flat was used by a terrorist cell plotting to assassinate a head of state living in the same building. Suddenly accused of terrorism, Hassan must navigate the chaos of intelligence agencies, genuine terrorists, and a justice system that has him squarely in its sights — all while desperately trying to prove he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
