Another World is an Egyptian drama series that follows Donia Salem, the director of an international school, whose seemingly stable life with her husband Badr and their two children is shattered by an unthinkable tragedy: the drowning of one of her sons in the family swimming pool. The loss deepens when her second son loses his ability to speak, overwhelmed by grief and trauma from witnessing his brother's death. Consumed by guilt and rage, Donia holds Badr responsible for the tragedy and pursues a separation that sends the entire family into an emotionally turbulent new chapter. The series explores how catastrophic loss can fracture a marriage and transform the people within it, charting Donia's painful journey through grief, blame, and the search for a life that can be rebuilt from the ruins of the one she once knew.
