About Love and Passion is an Egyptian romantic drama about Omar and Alia, a couple in love heading toward marriage — until Omar discovers that Alia's sister Fatima has a scandalous reputation working in a bar. He withdraws and enters into a traditional marriage with Kismat instead, while Alia marries a childhood neighbor who has long adored her. Neither finds true happiness in their chosen paths, and as the story escalates, long-suppressed emotions resurface and the consequences of rushed choices begin to take their toll.
