Ahmed Maher

An Egyptian actor, he was born in the Boulaq Abu El-Ela area in Cairo in 1946. He obtained a bachelor’s degree at the Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1973. He worked most of the time between theater and television, where he worked in youth centers and in palaces of mass culture. He was also appointed to the Vanguard Theater, and among the most famous plays he presented were (The Married Ones, Gang Countries, Baba, A Very Enjoyable Vacation). He is famous on television for playing many historical characters, including his works (The Knights, The Heroes, Raafat Al-Hagan, Napoleon and Al-Mahrousa).
