A Friend Indeed is an Egyptian comedy film about the enduring friendship between Gad and Osama, childhood companions raised together after Osama lost his parents in a train accident. When a single job opportunity abroad arises, Osama unselfishly steps aside so Gad can take it, staying behind in Cairo to care for his grandfather and Gad's elderly mother. Five years later, Gad returns for a holiday visit — and Osama, determined not to lose his best friend to another stint overseas, devises a series of comical schemes to convince him to stay. A warm-hearted comedy about loyalty, sacrifice, and the lengths a true friend will go.
