Overview

If I Were a Stud is an Egyptian comedy stage play that follows Shehata, a lowly clerk working for Abdel Hafeez, the corrupt warden of a religious endowment. Despite knowing full well his employer's dishonest ways, Shehata remains trapped in his position, quietly nurturing his dream of marrying Sawsan, the warden's daughter. The problem is that Sawsan loves another man, and her father is determined to marry her off to someone wealthy. Everything changes when Shehata's luck turns on a single lottery ticket — winning a large sum of money that suddenly reshapes the dynamics of power, love, and ambition around him.
