Egyptian actor and director. He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce from Assiut University, then from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Directing Department in 1978. He won the title of first actor in the New Faces Competition in Alexandria in 1973, and began his life as an actor on television. He then directed a collection of songs and several films such as (The Angry Ones, Al-Kashi Machi, If This Was a Dream), and he also wrote scripts for many films and television shows, including (The Rebel Father, The Brave Ones). In terms of acting, he participated in dozens of works, the most prominent of which are (Back Streets, The Road to Eilat, Karnak, and Solomon’s Seal).
