Generational Gap is an Arabic social drama that follows Sami, a determined and high-achieving young man appointed as the principal of a mixed-gender school. Guided by the belief that education is as much about character as curriculum, he quickly finds his principles dividing the teaching staff into rival camps of supporters and critics. His challenges deepen when one of his students develops romantic feelings for him and sets her sights on marriage, forcing Sami to navigate the situation with wisdom and diplomacy. The film examines the tension between idealism and institutional resistance, and the personal cost of trying to lead with principle.
