Overview
Supermarket is an Egyptian romantic comedy following Ramzi, a principled conservatory-trained pianist who earns his living playing at a tourist hotel. After clashing with his sister-in-law, who can't abide music, he retreats to his mother's apartment — and reconnects with Amira, a close friend from his schooldays. What begins as renewed friendship slowly blossoms into something deeper, as Ramzi navigates the gap between his artistic ideals and the demands of everyday life. A lighthearted film with a genuine emotional core.
