The Man Who Lost His Memory Twice is an Egyptian drama thriller built on mistaken identity and amnesia. Raafat Al-Gohary finally reclaims fifty thousand pounds from Murad and his ex-wife Maysa — the pair who once betrayed him — and makes his escape by train. Murad's men pursue him, and in the ensuing fight aboard the moving train, Raafat suffers a serious head injury and loses all memory of who he is. He wanders aimlessly until he drifts into a hotel café, where Maha, the hotel owner's daughter, is startled to find a stranger who is the spitting image of her late husband, killed in the war. The coincidence sets off an unexpected new chapter in both their lives.
