The Warm Nights is an Egyptian social drama revolving around Ahmed Raafat, a prominent surgeon who secretly marries Laila, a popular singer, unwilling to publicly acknowledge the relationship for fear of social scandal. When Laila gives birth to their daughter Hoda and demands he come clean, Ahmed repeatedly stalls and evades, leaving her trapped in a marriage he refuses to own. Meanwhile his colleague Omar quietly carries feelings for Ahmed's sister Souad as tensions within the circle mount. The film is a sharp-edged portrait of upper-class hypocrisy, exposing how reputation and status are guarded at the expense of the women who pay the price.
