
An Egyptian artist who was born in Port Said Governorate and began her life working as a customs inspector. She then founded the Customs Theater Troupe in 1984, then moved to work in the Theater Club with the late Fouad Saleh. She is also one of the founders of its regional troupe with Mr. Nasr El-Din Al-Gharib. After that, she moved to Cairo to perform the play (The Darvels), after which she was chosen to play the role of the Sabawiyya in the series (Layali Al-Helmeya). She turned to cinema to be confined to a specific type of role, such as the jailer, the coffee teacher, and the owner of the popular house. She has worked in comedy and commercial theatre. She has roles that stick in the minds of viewers, such as her role in the movie (Al-Mazaj) with Madiha Kamel, and the series (Layali Al-Helmeya) in the role of Al-Sabaawiyya. She also appeared strongly in the series (We Do Not Plant Thorns) by Athar Al-Hakim, where she embodied the role of a mother’s wife.
