The Wolf is an Egyptian mystery thriller in which editor Salah is arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife Laila. Officer Essam takes on the case and quickly discovers an unsettling personal complication: his own niece, Safaa, is romantically involved with the prime suspect. Determined to uncover the truth, Safaa joins forces with Salah's loyal friend Taher, and together they set out to find a woman who was with Salah on the night of the killing — a witness who may hold the key to proving his innocence. The film builds its tension through the collision of personal loyalties and police procedure, delivering a tightly woven whodunit.
