Laih Ya Dunya is an Egyptian drama thriller built around Dunya, a happily married woman whose life with her husband Mustafa — a businessman — and their young child appears picture-perfect. When a family friend, a doctor, discovers that Mustafa is gravely ill, the secret is kept from Dunya. After Mustafa dies, she is unjustly accused of murdering him for his money, while the real perpetrator walks free, enjoying both his freedom and his ill-gotten gains. The doctor, determined to see justice done, sets out to uncover the truth and prove Dunya's innocence before it is too late.
