Overview

Belly of the Whale is an Egyptian drama series that thrusts an unlikely protagonist into the criminal underworld. When Hilal, a prominent drug trafficker, is imprisoned, the burden falls on his deeply religious younger brother Diaa to manage a world he knows nothing about. Suddenly responsible for his brother's illegal operations as well as the family's welfare, the devout Diaa must navigate a dangerous war between criminals and law enforcement — a conflict entirely foreign to him.
