Al-Dabah is an Egyptian crime drama that unfolds across the intersecting lives of characters entangled in the world of drug trafficking. Nesma, daughter of the wealthy merchant Hamed El-Ganzouri, is writing her master's thesis on drug addiction — unaware that her own father is a major dealer. She falls for Medhat, a struggling medical student whose poverty drives him into addiction. Meanwhile, Zaher, who assists Hamed in his operations, sets his sights on marrying Nesma, and when rejected and humiliated, turns against his employer — reporting him to the police and exposing his crimes to his own daughter.
