The Emperor is an Egyptian crime drama series chronicling the dark ascent of Zinham, a young man from Upper Egypt who flees poverty only to be drawn into the world of organized crime and heroin trafficking. Alongside his friend Ibrahim, he rises through the criminal ranks, forging a dangerous alliance with an Israeli smuggler to monopolize Egypt's drug market. As Zinham's power grows, so does his paranoia — he descends into addiction, orders the elimination of rivals, and ultimately turns on his closest friend.
