Mohamed ElHelou

Egyptian Lions coach.
One of the famous Al-Helou family in the world of circus, his grandfather is Muhammad Ali Al-Helou, who founded the Al-Helou Circus in 1889.
He joined the circus school in 1962, and after graduating, he was one of the first children of the National Circus, which opened in 1966 in Agouza, Giza Governorate. In the 1980s, the lion Sultan attacked him from behind during a performance and bit him. Al-Helou was taken to the hospital, where he breathed his last.
Al-Helou participated in acting in many films, but his fame as a coach for the Lions overshadowed his fame as an actor.
His works include the films “Pier Number 5” in 1956 and “Abu Hadid” in 1958.
