Overview
The Three Are Tricking Her is an Egyptian comedy film that tackles a striking social shift with broad humor and sharp observation. The story follows a young woman entangled simultaneously with three men — a situation that generates a torrent of comic incidents. At the heart of the film is a pointed critique of a new phenomenon in Arab society: young men who depend financially on women — whether sisters, girlfriends, or friends — in a culture where men were traditionally expected to be providers. The film uses comedy to probe the changing dynamics of gender roles and economic dependency in modern Egyptian society.
