Overview
Very Hot Day is an Egyptian romantic comedy set against the sweltering heat of Cairo. A young man returns home after eight years abroad for a short family visit, only to find himself swept up in an unexpected adventure on his very first day back. While on a phone call in the street, he witnesses a bag snatching and gives chase, recovering the stolen bag — but the owner has vanished into the city's crowds. With nothing but a name and phone number found inside the bag, his quiet family reunion transforms into a warm and light-hearted search across Cairo.
