Overview
They Stole Umm Ali is an Egyptian thriller following Simon and Sally, two members of an international jewel-theft ring who successfully steal a rare gem from a Cairo jewelry store and board a Luxor-bound tourist cruise to flee. Hot on their trail, undercover police officers Shaaban and Essam board the same ship. As the investigation tightens, an unexpected romance blooms between Sally and Officer Shaaban, adding emotional complexity to the cat-and-mouse chase unfolding on the Nile.
