Overview
The Thief and the Fox is an Egyptian comedy thriller that blurs the line between performance and crime. Jaber, an actor in the film industry, is approached by the mysterious Sultan Al-Sharnoubi at a wedding with a tempting offer: to star in a self-produced movie. What sounds like a dream role turns out to be an elaborate con. The so-called production is a front for illegal operations, and Jaber is unwittingly recruited to carry out a bank robbery staged as a film shoot. The story follows Jaber, his brother Helbawy, and Karima as they are pulled deeper into a world of deception.
