Everyone Deceives Everyone is a light Arabic comedy that begins with an utterly ordinary request: businesswoman Buthaina asks her assistant Saleh to help her hang a chandelier in her apartment. On the very same day, a thief breaks in, and the resulting collision of misidentities, misunderstandings, and comic reversals sends the story spiralling into cheerful farce. The film proves that the most elaborate comedies can grow from the simplest of premises.
