Egyptian director, born June 22, 1945. He obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Directing, in 1965. He worked as an assistant director with a number of directors, including Niazi Mostafa, Abbas Kamel, Ahmed Fouad, Issa Karama, and Nader Galal. He traveled to Beirut in 1968 and settled there until 1971, when he directed a number of films, then directed a number of television series. He presented the screenplay and dialogue for the film (Men in the Eyes of a Woman) in 1987. He also wrote the story, dialogue and screenplay for a number of films, including (This Passport Doesn’t Have to Be Done) and the film (Kallah Plays All Over). He died on January 1, 2006.
