Overview
Missing Person (Kharag walam yarjaa) is an Egyptian romantic comedy film starring Yehia El-Fakharani, Leila Alawi, and Farid Shawki. El-Fakharani plays Attia, a modest government employee pressured by his prospective mother-in-law to secure an apartment before the wedding. Seeking a solution, he travels to his hometown to sell his inherited land. There, unexpectedly, he falls in love with Khairiya — played by Leila Alawi — the daughter of Kamal Bey, the man who purchases his land and is played by Farid Shawki. As Attia lingers in the countryside, he discovers a quiet simplicity far removed from city life's relentless demands. The film is a warm romantic comedy that explores themes of roots, belonging, and the unexpected places where love finds you.
