Kamal Bakir

One of the pioneers of Egyptian soundtracks, he participated in about ten works in Egyptian cinema, the film Desire 1979, the film Sunstroke 1980, the film A Dinner Date 1981, the film Bird on the Road 1981, the film Bus Driver 1982, the film Revenge 1982, the film He Came Out and Didn’t Return 1984, the film The Return of a Citizen 1986, the film Supermarket 1990, the film Mabrouk and Bulbul 1998. He is famous for using musical instruments of an oriental nature, such as the qanun. And the oud, the parchment, and the tambourine. He was also famous for making instrumental sounds in his musical compositions in films. Musician Kamal Bakir died in 2008.
