حضرة صاحب العمارة, is a 1970 Egyptian play, directed by Fayez Halawa, and starring Tahiya Cariocca, Fayez Halawa. Bader El Den Jamgome.
حضرة صاحب العمارة (The Building Owner) is a charming Egyptian comedy in which a lawyer and a seamstress meet by chance while both answering an apartment rental advertisement in the newspaper. Their plans are immediately upended by the eccentric building owner, who imposes a peculiar condition: no single men, no widowers, and — most inconveniently — no lawyers. Forced to conceal his profession, the lawyer enters into a hasty marriage of convenience with the seamstress just to secure the lease. What follows is a lively escalation of comic misunderstandings, contrasting personalities, and the absurdity of bureaucratic gatekeeping — a light, witty portrait of how far people will go to find a home.
