Overview
Darb El Lebana is an Egyptian romantic drama about Mamdouh, a musician who quietly and deeply loves Nadia — only to watch her marry another man named Ghareb. Devastated, Mamdouh withdraws into himself until his loyal friend Motie rallies the neighborhood to support him, organizing a performance of his compositions to help him heal. Nadia's sister Souad steps in to aid Mamdouh's recovery, and as the two grow closer, Nadia begins to feel the emotional distance her busy husband Ghareb has put between them. When Souad finally reveals Mamdouh's long-hidden feelings to her sister, events build toward an inevitable confrontation between long-suppressed love and the choices already made.
