Albijamat Alhamra (The Red Pajamas) is an Egyptian theatrical comedy built around Dr. Nashat, who encounters a mischievous young woman during a night out. She drives him home after he loses consciousness and ends up spending the night at his apartment — in a conspicuous pair of red pajamas. When his uncle arrives unannounced after a long absence and mistakes her for Nashat's wife, he promptly invites the supposed couple to his daughter's wedding, where the free-spirited woman proceeds to bewitch every guest in sight and ignite a chain of increasingly absurd misunderstandings. The comedy reaches its peak when Nashat's real wife appears on the scene, sending the chaos into overdrive. A fast-paced farce that mines social conventions and mistaken identities for maximum comedic effect.
