Overview

Talk to Mum is an Egyptian comedy film following four college friends who embark on increasingly chaotic schemes to raise money for their friend Mona's wedding. Mona is in love with her neighbor Sayed, but her mother — the feisty pickle-seller Asaliya — refuses to bless the union until Sayed completes his university degree. Determined to help, the four girls hatch plan after plan, each landing them at the local police station. Their luck changes when a gangster kidnaps the wealthy father of one of their classmates, giving the friends a shot at a big reward and the wedding of their dreams. A fun blend of romance, comedy, and light adventure.
