Overview
For Your Eyes is an Egyptian comedy film following the story of a respectable, upstanding man who unexpectedly inherits a cabaret from his late brother. Thrust into an environment that clashes entirely with his values and social standing, he struggles to manage the establishment while simultaneously looking after a young woman who dreams of making it as a professional showgirl dancer. The collision between his rigid sense of propriety and his chaotic new responsibilities generates a stream of comic situations that carry the film's easygoing, lighthearted tone. A witty exploration of how fate can place ordinary people in extraordinary — and deeply inconvenient — circumstances.
