Overview
The Dupes is a landmark Palestinian Arab drama directed by Tewfik Saleh, adapted from Ghassan Kanafani's searing novella Men in the Sun. Three Palestinian refugees — each carrying his own wound and his own desperate dream — hide inside a truck's empty water tank attempting to cross the border into Kuwait, the land they have come to see as salvation. The suffocating journey becomes an unflinching allegory for dispossession, false promises, and a people abandoned by history.
